Local Homeschooled Girl wins the National Geography Bee!
Caitlin Snaring, 14, won the National Geography Bee! Her parents noticed her good memory in the AWANA program where she was able to memorize 10 Bible verses at a time when she was 9, and even more as she became older. This is Caitlin's second year representing Washington state at the Bee, and only the second time in the history of the 19 year event that a girl won!
